About Louise Rodriguez
Becoming a Yoga Instructor just seemed to be the natural thing to do....in my career as a Registered Massage Therapist, I was using my body, with physical exertion every day. Like most people, I was tending to use the same motions everyday at work, and starting to see some repetitive strain injuries come up. Knowing that movement is the key to healthy muscles and joints, I started to practice yoga on a regular basis. I found that my shoulder and neck pain was gone and I was stronger and more flexible. Many of the stretches and strengthening exercises I gave to my clients were similar to yoga poses, and then ....it just seemed the next progression in helping my clients with the added bonus of practicing my own self-care!
Louise has completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with the International Yoga Alliance certified instructor, Helen Cloots at Floating Yoga School in February 2017.
As a Registered Massage Therapist with FLEX Massage Therapy since 2010, she also has experience and training in exercise for rehabilitation and a great working knowledge of how our muscles work, both healthy and injured. In addition she also qualified as a personal trainer in 2010.
